How I use your details

Who I am
Paid & Sorted is a sole-trader business based in Southampton, UK. For any question about your data, or to use any of your rights below, send a message through the contact form and say it's a data request.
What I collect
- When you download the tracker: your first name, email address, the kind of work you do and your team size.
- When you request a free check: your name, business name, email, and anything else you choose to add, such as a phone number and a note about your admin.
- If I work for you: access to the business accounts you choose to share. These stay in your accounts, not mine.
The forms also record which advert or link brought you to the site, if any.
Why, and on what basis
- To give you the tracker you asked for, and to reply when you contact me (legitimate interests).
- To send you tips on getting paid faster, only if you ticked the box (consent). Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
- To carry out work you've agreed to (contract).
I don't sell your details or share them for anyone else's marketing.
Where it's kept
Form entries are stored by Netlify, which hosts this site. Emails are sent from my business email account. These providers may process data outside the UK, under safeguards approved for UK data protection law.
How long I keep it
Download and enquiry details are kept for up to two years, or until you ask me to delete them or you unsubscribe. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires for business records.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to how I use it. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
